Squidoo Matchmaking for Valentines Day

Get together on Squidoo on Valentine's Day. Just for a bit of Valentine's Day fun I've devised a matchmaking lens for Squidooers - a sort of professional dating agency for members of the Squidoo community and lovers of Squidoo to maximize team-working.

The people I've met on Squidoo are busy people, hard-working, resourceful, literate, helpful, computer-savvy, generous and interesting - just the sort of people I'd like to meet in 'real' life - although chance would be a fine thing in my hamlet of Videix, deep in the heart of rural France!

Whether you're looking for Squidoo soul-mates or just a writing companion or two, this is the place to go.

So how does it work? We all want our articles to be read and we are all looking for links so add some to this lens. Post a link to your Squidoo home page, , your lensography or a link to a site that draws people together FOR PROFESSIONAL REASONS ONLY, or add a text link or a lens saying who you are and who you want to meet and why, then post it in one of the links below and lets see if love will follow.

What I need is a Squidoo Matchmaker, (unofficial of course), to help me make friends on the net. I'm not advocating meeting for real, (way too dangerous, although, of course, people do it all the time), but just to have a little squidoo fun, a bit of networking, discover new places to get together and Squidoo party.

I was lying in bed trying to get to sleep and planning, nay worrying, about everything from lenses to life, when this idea popped into my head - why not set up a Squidoo Dating Agency?

There must be lots of lone and single Squids out there looking for love! Then I thought, this is perhaps not such a good idea, the internet being what it is and all. On the other hand it's not all about ***, is it? It's not only love we seek - what about HTML tricks for example? I think it was harder getting to grips with that than with the other.

Then there's the knotty problems of who are the best Squidoo role models? Where can we pick up Squidoo logos for our lenses, and what about the thorny issues of copyright?

Now personally, I'm all loved-up with hubby, and son, and dog, and cat and Les Trois Chenes and life in France, but the latest love in my life - Squidoo, has seriously swept me off my feet!

Everyone needs friends and I found lots here on Squidoo - but it wasn't easy.
