What I can say is that I owe my existence to Beatrix - Beatrix Potter, who has been like a mother to me. I can also say that every since my birth, children have loved me. Beatrix has put me in the prettiest books and drawn lots of pictures of my life and adventures and now there are so many lovely things that have my pictures on them - even toys and ornaments of me myself - it makes me so proud to see them.

"I made this picture nice and big because it is my Christmas favourite. I'll tell you what I love about it: It has Mom Beatrix's picture of me on it (that's the best bit) and I like all the Christmas writing because it is so colourful and Christmassy - it gets me right in the mood. I imagine having my Christmas dinner of roasted carrots, pickled raddishes, wilted lettuce and pan-fried cabbage with chestnuts - though I'm not SO keen on the chestnuts - Mum always tells me to eat up my browns.

I also love the picture of my comfey bed and the 'Merry Christmas' wishes - just like Mum Beatrix used to draw and paint.

The other thing that I like is that it's made by Wedgwood and wedgwood is famous, old and make classics - like me - I wouldn't say I was old - but I was created a long time ago and I'm a classic! I love classics.

My 'rabbitography'

"I live with my mother, Mrs. Josephine Rabbit, and my sisters, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail in a lovely, cosy rabbit hole that has a pretty kitchen, and lots of nice furniture. My mum has a shop with 'bits and bobs'. Rabbits have big families, of course, but my favourite relatives are my Cousin Benjamin Bunny and Uncle Mr. Benjamin Bunny.

Shall I tell you how I got my name? My other Mom, Beatrix Potter used to have a pet rabbit when she was little, and this rabbit was called Peter Piper. The very first time that I arrived was in 1893. Miss Potter wrote a letter to a little boy called Noel who was poorly. She wrote this story all about me and drew pictures of me to make him feel better - I think it must have worked 'cos now more than 40 million copies of The Tale of Peter Rabbit has sold worldwide in 35 languages.

This is one of the series "Peter Rabbit and Friends" by Frederick Warne & Co 2003. It comes with its boxed and is brand new.

(I like the ones of me best, and I especially like the beautiful round blue one with me on it - just like those old-fashioned glass balls we used to hang on trees in the olden-days.)

"Hey! I found lots more of my Peter Rabbit Christmas ornaments on eBay. It's super fun 'cos it's like a lucky dip. They make me a bit sad as well because they remind me of a long time ago - they are so pretty and old-fashioned looking."

"When I was a baby I had a lovely nest and all my sisters, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail to snuggle up to. Babies love soft and snuggly things so I'd like to think that your baby or little girl or boy had a furry rabbit to cuddle at Christmas."

"Babies and and children have always loved me so much that I'm sure they would love a Peter Rabbit décor! Yes, what a good idea it would be to decorate baby's room with my Peter Rabbit posters, toys and pictures! Toddlers and older children would love to read my books and see me watching over them as they go to sleep.

"I found this review of my Christmas Day show - I'm a celebrity rabbit now! - by Emma Sturgess, but I don't think I'm allowed to tell you exactly what she says, so this is the gist of it (but I've added a sign post so you can see the real thing and get all the details of when I'm going to be on telly).

Emma says that CGI are making a new adaptation of my Peter Rabbit tales and you'll be able to see them in the New Year 2013. But today (I'm writing this on Christmas Day!) they are showing a Christmas special on BBC 1 so you can see just how nice the television pictures are going to look. The story is that I try to be as brave as my Dad, but when I go out with my cousin, Benjamin Bunny, in a terrible blizzard I get really scared. Wouldn't you? I had to go out, though, if we all wanted our special Christmas things 'cos Mr Bouncer's too poorly to bring them to us.

All my other TV stories are going to be super too. They are all based on the tales by my Mom Beatrix Potter. They show how clever and I am, how all the horrible things that try to trap and eat me are thwarted (great word that!) and how I get to grow up like my Dad. I do hope that you're going to watch them."
